We are so excited to get married at one of our favorite spots - the Matusky cabins on Penns Creek in Millmont, PA.
Penns Creek is a branch of the Susquehanna River, best known as a major flyfishing destination. The summer camp nearby is called Camp Karoondinha, which is the original Iroquois name for the creek. The cabins and camp are surrounded by beautiful Pennsylvania woods, rivers, and mountains, perfect for hiking or relaxing.
After dating for only a few weeks, Leigh Ann met Jono's entire family at their cabin for Thanksgiving. Since then, we have made so many great memories there.
The cabin is our place for big events, quiet quarantines, snowy days and heat waves, family and friend reunions, and now a lifetime of love.
Amid the nature and fun outdoor activities at Penns Creek, we strengthened our relationship and our love of family.

Jono and Leigh Ann connected in July 2018, when Jono was just about to quit online dating. Leigh Ann was in her 2nd year of OB/GYN residency, looking for a meaningful relationship and life outside the hospital. On their first date, each decided the other was a nerdy, fun person who deserved a shot. They discovered that they both attended Space Camp at the same time during middle school, and to Jono (who had seriously wanted to be an astronaut), this was a sign that they were meant to be. So forget Tinder, they met at Space Camp.
